The weekend is coming!
Let's start this weekend with an awesome volcano picture of the Bagana in Papua New Guinea.
It was taken by the Earth Observing-1 satellite and is a rather rare picture. This volcano can hardly be monitored since it's located far from any civilization. Enjoy it and study the different magma flows and the plume rising.

We had the graduation ceremony at our university.
I have to say it is very nice that a ceremony like that is held at our school and I am quite excited for my own graduation next year!

Gestern ist eine tolle Info aus dem Twitter gefallen:

 Da habe ich Anna kurzerhand überredet, dass wir uns auf dem Hauptcampus treffen.

Anschließend haben wir eine tolle Phototour gemacht und haben die neue Olympus Pen Light ausprobiert. Zugegebenermaßen hat die Werbemaßnahme funktioniert. Ich bin ziemlich überzeugt von der Kamera. Der Autofokus ist unglaublich schnell und die Bilder werden selbst in der Nacht ohne Blitz sehr gut. Außerdem hat man die Wahl zwischen verschiedenen Filtern, die automatisch auf das Bild angewendet werden können und die üblichen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten für ISO-Werte und die Blende. Dabei sind ein paar wirklich schöne Bilder rausgekommen, die ich hier gerne zeigen mag.
